Brad founded Carbon Capital in 2013 following a successful 7-year career with a large bank-owned leasing company. Brad supports clients throughout Alberta and Western Canada, and is particularly active in financing utility trailers, woodworking equipment, and landscaping & construction assets. Raised in Thunder Bay, ON, Brad has maintained a lifelong passion for hockey, vintage muscle cars, and drag racing. He currently resides in Calgary with his wife and their 4 children.

Ryan joined Carbon in 2016 following 6 years in equipment sales, where he was a valued Carbon customer himself. Ryan supports clients in Western Canada, with a focus in Saskatchewan and has been especially successful in financing utility trailers, survey equipment, and transportation assets. Born and raised in Toronto, Ryan is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, where he was a 4-year member of the Gee-Gees rugby team. Ryan resides in Calgary with his wife and two young sons.

Dean joined Carbon in 2020 following an extremely successful 20+ year career with a large bank-owned leasing company. Dean has an extensive network of dealer and end-user clients across Western Canada and has become an invaluable financing resource for countless Canadian entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries. Dean was born and raised in Moree, Australia and is a graduate of Queensland University of Technology. He has lived in Canada since 1996, raising his children in his wife’s hometown of Okotoks, AB, where he resides today. Dean is an avid golfer and an active traveler.

Jori has been in the equipment finance industry since 2010 and joined Carbon in 2022 following a successful sales career at a large bank-owned leasing company and 2 Western Canadian banks. Jori supports clients primarily in Alberta and southern Saskatchewan with a focus on the blue-collar industries that make the western economy tick: oil and gas, construction, transportation, and the trades. Born and raised in small-town Saskatchewan, Jori is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge. He is a passionate outdoorsman and currently lives in Calgary with his wife and 2 young sons.

Joel joined Carbon in 2025 following a 15-year career with a leading Canadian equipment finance company, where he was annually recognized as a top performer. He covers the Manitoba and Saskatchewan markets, supporting dealers and end users across a range of industries, including construction, transportation, and agriculture. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Joel enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures. Beyond his professional life, he spends time at his acreage outside of Winnipeg and at his cabin on Lake of the Woods, where he enjoys nature and a variety of outdoor activities.

Emily joined Carbon in 2020, initially in an operations role before moving into sales in 2022. Emily supports her customer base in Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta with a focus on utility trailers, vocational vehicles, construction, and agriculture. Born and raised in Toronto, Emily is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and worked as a flight attendant for Emirates prior to entering the equipment finance industry.

Brent started in the equipment finance and leasing business in 2003, ultimately joining Carbon in 2024. Brent represents Carbon on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland where he supports dealers and end-users in a variety of industries, particularly construction and infrastructure. Brent was born and raised in Port Moody and is a graduate of the University of Victoria. He currently resides in Sooke, BC and maintains an acting career in addition to his role at Carbon.

Marcel joined Carbon in 2023 following a lengthy career at a golf & turf equipment dealer. Marcel plays a crucial role supporting Brad and Ryan’s sales activities, often acting as the first point of contact for clients/dealers/lenders. Marcel was born in the small town of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. After spending a few years in Montreal, he returned to Alberta for a trial in Calgary, and now calls Okotoks home, where he lives with his wife and two kids.

Jack joined Carbon in 2022 fresh out of university as a graduate of Mount Allison University. He works alongside Berkeley as a key member of Dean’s sales team. Before launching his career in sales, Jack spent 10 years working in landscaping, where he developed a strong work ethic and hands-on problem-solving skills. Today, he brings that same dedication and drive to his role at Carbon. Jack was born and raised in Sackville, NB. where he grew up playing a variety of sports, most notably hockey and football, which helped shape his competitive spirit and strong team mindset. Jack and his wife live in Okotoks and spend their free time being active outdoors.

Berkeley joined Carbon full-time in 2023 following several years as a summer student. Berk supports Dean’s sales activities, working directly with clients, dealers, and lenders on Dean’s behalf. Berk was born and raised in Okotoks and attended Doane University in Nebraska on a golf scholarship. He currently lives in Calgary.
